Bids are due by 2 November for the contract to build the infrastructure for Khalifa bin Salman port at Hidd, which is currently in the dredging and reclamation phase. The client is the Works & Housing Ministry.
The 86-week contract covers earthworks, pavement construction, drainage, water supply and other services. Port buildings are to be erected under a separate contract.
