A winter landscape painted so crisp it looks like a photograph. A cartoonlike cityscape with pink buildings. The face of a man peering from behind wisps of horse hair.
The watercolor images displayed at the Tyler Art Gallery at the State University College at Oswego are as diverse as the artists who created them.
Seventeen painters from across the country pooled their works to create a traveling exhibit called the "Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors."
