ABUNCH of people out in Harare, Zimbabwe, towed all these crates across the airport taxiway and loaded up a DHL cargo jet getting ready to go to London. When they had it tied down in the hold everybody jumped out into the sultry night and forgot about it.
The jet belted down that huge runway they have there, climbed, and began chasing the sun to Gatwick.
In London next morning and even earlier than Tim Clifton got to work, a DHL courier was getting a signature from somebody at the Wilson, Smithett tea brokers office, Southwark. Then he handed over a strong, yellow package straight off the Harare flight.
