Region I is comprised of 14 state associations and the District of Columbia. Our states are diverse in size, yet we share a common bond of dedication to career and technical education and to ACTE. Over the course of the last year, through many tribulations, a small group of Region I educators has met and kept the fire burning.
This past year, Region I met in Cincinnati at Great Oaks Institute of Technology and Career Development. The meeting was held in conjunction with the National Council of Local Administrators (NCLA) Conference. There was a large contingent of people from Ohio, especially from Great Oaks.
