MINNEAPOLIS -- Famous Dave's of America, Inc. (Nasdaq:DAVE) President and CEO David Goronkin announced today that Tacaza II, Inc. has purchased the right to franchise six Famous Dave's Legendary Pit Bar-B-Que(R) restaurants in the Oakland, California metropolitan area.
The development agreement for the six new restaurants covers Alameda, Contra Costa and Santa Clara counties in the East Bay area of California. Tacaza II, Inc. owner Anand Gala is also the owner of Tacaza, Inc., which previously purchased development rights to open six additional Famous Dave's restaurants in Southern California.
