2004 OCT 19 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- New data demonstrating that Imitrex Tablets, formulated with RT Technology, have a rapid onset of pain relief were presented at the 15th Migraine Trust International Symposium in London, England.
The data are based on a combined analysis of two studies of 2,696 patients, ages 18 to 65 years. Cumulatively, 6% of patients treated with Imitrex 100-mg tablets reported onset of relief in as early as 20 minutes compared to placebo (4%), and 19% of those treated with Imitrex 50-mg tablets reported onset of relief in as early as 30 minutes compared to placebo (14%).
