LEGENDARY comedian Sir Norman Wisdom was last night bidding farewell to the British stage.

Sir Norman was playing to a packed house at the Theatre Royal, Norwich -- his final performance in a British theatre.

The show sold out earlier this week after Sir Norman announced that he would be retiring when he reaches the age of 90 in February.
