Oakland International has opened a 2.7 million [pounds sterling] export-import distribution depot in Dunkirk, the first independent UK contract packing, storage and logistics company to locate in this major French port.
The depot, which is just 150 metres from the ferry and container terminal and has an integral rail connection, will give UK companies a cost effective and easier route to market in Europe and provide a vital hub for companies looking to import into the UK.
