Imagine watching surveillance video on a mobile phone handset. San Diego-based Perseus Wireless makes that possible. Its products prepare surveillance video for transmission over a mobile phone network, delivering video at a jerky but very-useable 15 frames per second.
The company says it just struck a deal with AT&T Wireless. AT&T Wireless will let Perseus offer the service over its highest-bandwidth mobile phone networks, currently rolled out in Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle and Detroit.
