The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) yesterday launched the e-Card for distribution to the systems 1.5 million members nationwide, ushering them to the era of electronic credit and banking.
GSIS President and General Manager Winston Garcia said that the e-Card will abolish the archaic and time-consuming system of lining up among GSIS members just to get their cash and other benefits from the System.
This state-of-the-art innovation, said Garcia, is a result of the reform agenda of the management which places the interest and comfort of the GSIS member as the Systems primary investor at the highest priority level.
