Oct. 16--ATA Airlines Inc. put a piece of its turnaround package in place Friday when a large majority of flight attendants accepted $24 million in concessions to help keep the financially ailing Indianapolis carrier flying.
The concessions, including a 10 percent pay cut for the 1,900 flight attendants, fit in with a larger recovery strategy taking shape at ATA. The airline's 1,038 pilots have already agreed to $43 million in givebacks over the next two years.
