Article: Armor Holdings Raises Sales Outlook On Latest Armored-Humvee Contract.(Brief Article)

Armor Holdings [AH] on Tuesday said it has been awarded a $135 million Army contract to provide additional up-armored Humvees, allowing the company to get to a production rate of 450 vehicles per month this year and into next.

The company also expects $35 million more in revenues this year under the contract, causing it to raise sales guidance to the $870 million to $900 million range for 2004. The balance of the contract will be realized next year, Armor Holdings said.
