Oct. 18--Jennifer Duran's mouth drops open as she surveys a giant swath of bare earth near Denver International Airport.

The area is swarming with earthmovers, dump trucks and men in hard hats who are building hundreds of new homes.

"This is a monster," Duran says.

Denver is growing fast, and Duran's job as a field analyst for Navteq is to meticulously record every new street, cul-de-sac and house number on the city's northern edge.
