HANOI, Oct 18 Asia Pulse - Ho Chi Minh City's social insurance office is cracking down on companies neglecting to pay social insurance premiums.

The office will file lawsuits against any companies failing to pay social insurance premiums to their employees, said Nguyen Hong Thy, Director of Ho Chi Minh City's social insurance office. According to the office, social insurance premium debts are now up to VND40 billion (US$2.5 million).
