Article: Cook's Illustrated Launches New Magazine: Cook's Country.

BROOKLINE VILLAGE, Mass., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Cook's Country, the sister publication of Cook's Illustrated, recently launched its charter issue. It will be published bimonthly and, like Cook's Illustrated, will carry no advertising. Based on 12 months of market testing, Cook's Country should reach 250,000 paid readers by the end of 2005. The magazine is also planning to launch both television series and a cookbook publishing program in 2006.
