COMPOSTING WILL GROW AS WASTE MANAGEMENT TOOL,
SOLID WASTE PROFESSIONALS PREDICT
NEW YORK, June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Ninety-six percent of solid waste professionals say composting, as a method of solid waste management, will increase in the next five to ten years, according to a survey released today by the Roper Organization.
Thirty-eight percent of those surveyed said composting would experience the most growth of any of the seven methods asked about; 37 percent cited recycling. No other method was mentioned by more than 9 percent of the respondents.
