PHOENIX, Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- President Bush's lead over Sen. John Kerry in Arizona dipped to 7 percentage points, but 13 percent of Arizona voters have yet to make up their minds. The Arizona Republic Poll was conducted Oct. 18 and 19.
Bush's 47-40 advantage over Kerry put the race back into the realm of a statistical tie for the first time since mid-August. It reflected a gain of 3 points for Kerry from the 48-38 showing posted early this month after the first presidential debate.
The president's lead has declined in Arizona from a peak of 16 points, 54-38, measured in a Republic Poll immediately after the Republican National Convention. In two ...
