Pernambuco state reported an 18.3% increase in exports between January and September 2004 to US$314mil, corresponding to 76% of the total exported in 2003 (US$410mil) and surpassing the performance in 2002 (US$319.8mil), 2001 (US$334.9mil), 2000 (US$283mil) and 1999 (US$265.8mil). Exports of non-processed sugar from sugarcane registered US$69mil, a 57.7% high, followed by other types of sugar, with US$33.1mil, mango, with US$13.5mil over the past US$342,500, aluminum alloy profiles, with US$10.2mil, a 977.9% raise, lobsters, with US$10.1mil, a 13.5% increase, and butadiene rubber, with US$9.6mil, a 7.1% ...
