NEW YORK -- L.K. Comstock & Company, Inc., an operating subsidiary of RailWorks Corporation and one of the nation's largest specialty electrical contractors, has been selected as the primary subcontractor to install the Automated People Mover (APM) system at Washington Dulles International Airport. Sumitomo Corporation of America (SCOA), the project prime contractor, awarded the $62.7 million subcontract in late August.
L.K. Comstock & Company has been working on the six-year, design-build project at Dulles since May of 2003. With the subcontract award in place, its work will continue through completion of the project in March of 2009.
