Oct. 22--ASBURY PARK, N.J. -- Dramatic comebacks hinge on seizing the momentum. The Boston Red Sox can attest to that, and speakers at yesterday's Asbury Park Real Estate Conference & Expo, which drew more than 160 potential investors to the Berkeley Carteret Oceanfront Hotel, echoed the same theme.
"There's just so many great things happening here now," said Thomas Gilmour, director of the city's Urban Enterprise Zone, which sponsored the event. "We've got a $1.25 billion redevelopment (under way) on the oceanfront, redevelopment downtown, redevelopment on Main Street. ...
