DETROIT, Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Crain Communications Inc has agreed to sell radio stations, WWUS-FM and WCNK-FM, to Vox Communications Group, LP ("Vox"). The announcement was made jointly by Rance Crain, president, Crain Communications and Bruce Danziger, president of Vox Communications. Terms were not disclosed, and the sale will take place after FCC approval is received.
Owned by Crain Communications Inc for nearly two decades, the 100,000 watt radio stations WWUS-FM (104.1 FM, "US-1 RADIO") and WCNK-FM (98.7 FM "Conch FM") are based in Big Pine Key, Florida. An announcement of the sale of the stations by Crain to another entity was initially made in ...
