2004 OCT 31 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- CardioTech International, Inc., (CTE) announced an agreement between Gish Biomedical, Inc., and Salyer PRN for the exclusive worldwide distribution of the Century heart lung machine by Gish Biomedical.
There are approximately 900 open-heart centers in the United States, which require an average of three heart lung machines per center. A heart lung machine must be used for each on-pump open-heart case.
