With the impact from the dual factors of the price rise of raw materials such as water, power, steam, salt and coal and the increase of the downstream demand, the price of caustic soda in China has made an overall increase this year. There is a supply shortage in most areas, especially in East China and South China.
1. Factors promoting the overall price rise
