At 36 and looking maybe 10 years younger, violinist Joshua Bell would seem to have it all. Unlike just about any other star soloist, Bell, who grew up on a farm in Indiana, has managed to court a mass audience without losing his status as a serious classical artist.
Bell has performed on VH1 and to worldwide TV audiences on Grammy and Oscar broadcasts. He has recorded film scores ("The Red Violin") along with best-selling crossover discs.
