OHIO GOVERNOR VOINOVICH PRAISES $47 MILLION INVESTMENT
CANTON, Ohio, June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- In ceremonies at the Harrison Steel Plant in Canton, The Timken Company (NYSE: TKR) today commissioned its new $47 millon continuous caster for full-time production.
This is part of a more than $110 million investment being made at the Harrison Steel Plant to assure the company's continued world leadership in the special alloy steel industry.
The caster was officially commissioned by Ohio Gov. George V. Voinovich in a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Also taking part were U.S. Cogressman Ralph S. Regula and Canton ...
