BOSTON _ Right field was the wrong field Sunday for Fox _ again.
For the second night in a row, Fox had major problems giving its World Series viewers adequate live coverage of a fly ball hit down the right-field line. It left the audience guessing as to whether the result of the play was a home run or merely a foul ball until given the answer by play-by-play announcer Joe Buck.
Sunday's problem arose in the fifth inning, when David Ortiz stroked a towering fly ball toward Fenway Park's right-field foul pole. Fox's camera angle provided no perspective as to whether the ball left the field in fair or foul territory, as was the ...
