THIS year we decided to travel a bit further through France from our usual destination of Southern Brittany to try the beaches of the northern VendAe.
If you like your land flat and the cycling easy, give St Jean de Mont area of the VendAe a try.
When I say flat, I'm talking billiard table flat, with the highest point a 70 metre water tower that you can climb to view the area for miles around.
