Sulgas (Companhia de Gas do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul) is completing the construction of a gas pipeline in the Serra Gaucha region. The last stretch, crossing Farroupilha, Garibaldi, Carlos Barbosa and Bento Goncalves, has been consuming R$12.5mil investments since last May. The pipeline will supply 90,000 m3 per day to 23 companies like the cutlery group Tramontina and the furniture manufacturer Bertolini and allow the installing of four VNG stations (Vehicular Natural Gas), two in Bento Goncalves, one in Garibaldi and other one in Farroupilha.
