Long-term care providers have often felt their budgets were at risk if they wanted to explore innovative skin-care regimens.

But not only do some of the latest skin care products and techniques promise better outcomes, including more effective cleaning, moisturizing and barrier protection, they can also prove to be more cost-effective than even their most basic predecessors, sources say.
