Oct. 27--BRUNSWICK, Maine -- A decision by the Chamber of Commerce of the Bath-Brunswick Region to change its name to the Midcoast Maine Chamber has infuriated business leaders who live just up the coast. They are accusing the Bath-Brunswick organization with "brand name theft."
Meanwhile, officials with the Bath-Brunswick Chamber say the new name has been approved by the Secretary of State's Office and represents nothing more than a "letterhead change" aimed at more accurately describing the 16 coastal communities it represents.
