STAMFORD, Conn. -- According to a recent survey of 500 Americans, conducted online by professional research firm InsightExpress(R), only 12% of adult consumers have purchased music from an online store. The most common reasons cited for not buying music online include the preference for shopping at traditional music stores, not owning a digital music player, and the lack of appeal of downloading music.
