Oct. 27--CASUAL FRIDAY'S BETTER DRESSED E-MAIL FREE DAY: Corporate America has tried a lot of gimmicks to lighten the workplace mood in recent years. Casual Friday, for instance.
In place of dress shirts and ties, the "casual Friday" folks show up in khakis and sport shirts, or maybe even T-shirts and jeans.
Of course, they still have to roll up their sleeves and get after it, although casual Friday certainly eliminates the risk of getting their Dior ties caught in the copy machine. For one day, at least.
Well, casual Friday's are so yesterday for one company ...
