Oct. 27--WOODBRIDGE, N.J. -- Wal-Mart turns the key today on its Route 9 store, with the grand opening ceremonies slated for 7:30 a.m.
The public has been anticipating the Bentonville, Ark.-based discount powerhouse coming to town, according to the store manager.
"They're excited, I'm telling you," Joe Rotondi, the Woodbridge Wal-Mart's manager, said.
"We get 50, 60 phone calls a day." The retailer is opening one of its trademark discount centers at the former site of Bradlees on Route 9, the fourth Middlesex County Wal-Mart.
