Article: November wholesale gasoline price to rise by about 2 yen, Japan firms say.

Oct. 27--TOKYO -- Nippon Oil Corp. said Wednesday it will raise its wholesale prices of gasoline and other petroleum products by 1.9 yen per liter, effective next Monday.

The price hike reflects higher crude oil prices and the yen's depreciation against the dollar, which have caused cost increases at Japanese oil companies.

Idemitsu Kosan Co. and Japan Energy Corp. already decided on respective price increases of 2.3 yen and 2.0 yen per liter.
