Personal computing has revolutionized home businesses since the Edwardses pioneered this field with ``Working at Home'' in 1985. But home-based does not necessarily mean home alone or desk-bound, as this survey of 70 jobs demonstrates.
True, the 13 occupations here that serve business clients (bookkeeping, desktop publishing, medical coding) have a substantial tech component. But that's less true of the 16 with both business and consumer clients (errand service, professional organizer, mobile notary).
