Oct. 29--LOWELL, Mass. -- Many Red Sox fans relished the idea of catching up on some sleep after a string of late-night games, but business owners who sell Red Sox merchandise are staying open late and opening early to accommodate the flood of new customers celebrating the World Series win.
"It's been crazy busy. Insane," said Patrick Sage, general manager at Modell's sporting goods, a 107-store chain that opened in Nashua last week.
