QI AM about to sack an employee for consistent tardiness and failing to meet the standard of work and dedication required for their role. I am fearful of being taken to a tribunal for unfair dismissal as I am not too confident as to what constitutes as an unfair dismissal. Could you give me some pointers at to the fair process of dismissal? Additionally could you give some advice on tackling absenteeism in the workplace?
