Besides trainers and 4x4s, what other things are generally not used as originally intended?
THE DOG is a good example of something not used today as originally intended. There are probably more corgis in Buckingham Palace than snapping at the heels of Welsh cattle, for instance.
The German Shepherd can be applied to almost any task, and millions are kept as pets, but few are seen driving sheep in Germany.
