2004 NOV 1 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- A prospective cohort study of the MONICA population, a landmark 14-year population study, was published in today's issue of Circulation, the journal of the American Heart Association.
Data from the study support the measurement of lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2) as an independent predictor of individuals at risk for future coronary events.
