Rapid transfer of technology has always been a feature of the chemical industry. Now, a parallel transfer--of a package of inductry responses to society's environmental expectation, Responsible Care--istaking place.
"We are meeting the challenges of Responsible Care with many new and innovative ideas-ideas we share as we strive to capture that elusive moral high ground on environment, health, and safety that we crave," Dow Chemical president Frank Popoff reminded Chemical Manufactures Association members earlier this month.
