Halloween is what drew Kathleen Gardas to the city six months ago.
"Last time my husband got to decide where to move, so I got to decide where to move next, and I wanted to go to Anoka since it's the Halloween Capital of the World," she said.
The Halloween aficionado is in her element as she gears up for her first Halloween as a bona fide Anoka resident.
