It took 86 years for the Boston Red Sox to win a championship. Their patience, obviously, has been used up. Having thrust himself into the middle of the players' celebration after their sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals in the 100th World Series, Red Sox general manager Theo Epstein made it clear he believes he has found the key to success that for so long eluded the franchise.
