MIAMI -- InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) (NYSE:IHG) (LSE:IHG) (ADRs), the world's largest and most global hotel company, opens its third Holiday Inn brand in three months with the opening of the 100-room, five-story Holiday Inn Express Santa Felicidade in Curitiba, Brazil, one of the country's fastest growing cities.
This hotel is the third Holiday Inn Express brand to open in the past three months, and 27th Holiday Inn Brand to open in Latin America -- a number that has virtually doubled in the last four years.
