Think of it! The potential for forceful administrative procedures has been with mankind since Shakespeare's day, but we have been blind to it until recently. Shame on us for failing to recognize the cue card. power to us by imitating the Bard's technique. His technique? Playscript! Management's application? The administrative procedure.

Even before Shakespeare, dramatists assigned speaking parts by annotating the script's left margin to flag a character's attention. Why shouldn't we use the same device to make the responsible party notice his assignment? Then he might do it. If he doesn't, at least the auditors can say, with reasonable certainty, "I gotcha!"
