Oct. 31--SOMERSET, Pa. -- In Somerset County, home of the Whiskey Rebellion and fierce defenders of property rights, regulating development near the Flight 93 National Memorial is a mounting concern.
Though the design for the memorial will be unveiled in less than a year, no plans are in place to control gas stations, restaurants and hotels almost certain to follow.
"You don't want to look back in 20 years and say, 'If we only would have thought about this,'" said Jeff Reinbold, Flight 93 project manager for the National Park Service.
