PORTSMOUTH, N.H. _ Near Portsmouth's picturesque North Church, we spy a bald man resembling "Star Trek" commander Jean-Luc Picard riding on a Segway Human Transporter.
The impressive, white-spired North Church is exactly the idyllic image guidebooks promise, yet it's hard not to gawk at Segway Man's futuristic chariot as it do-si-dos with obstacles lining the cobblestones in Market Square.
