Nov. 2--The Kirkland-based Northwest Multiple Listing Service is denying Whatcom County real-estate agents access to listings in violation of a 1990 Federal Trade Commission order, the Bellingham group claims in an FTC complaint.
The Bellingham-Whatcom County Multiple Listing Service says its agents can no longer post real-estate listings or view those outside Whatcom County.
Whatcom County agents say the Northwest MLS is trying to control the listing market and deny them online access to real-estate documents, such as sales agreements.
