Nov. 2--For more than three decades, shoppers have visited Northwoods Mall in North Charleston to freshen up their wardrobes. Now, after 10 months of renovations, the shopping center has a fresh look of its own.
The goal of the multimillion-dollar makeover, scheduled for an official unveiling today, was to make the mall more family-friendly and inviting, Northwoods General Manager Bob Krantz said. "Everything was done to be easier on the customer."
It will also help the mall better compete against existing as well as new retail centers.
