IT is every parent's nightmare when their child comes home from school with that dreaded letter warning head lice is doing the rounds.
It is a condition which affects three in every 1, 000 people at any one time but the most common age group is four to 11-year-olds.
And contrary to what many people believe, head lice are not something which just affect dirty hair.
