WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Osmotica Pharmaceutical in conjunction with aaiPharma announces the successful co-development of Allegra-D(R) 24 Hour Extended Release Tablets- the only 24 hour allergy prescription medication containing both an antihistamine and decongestant. Allegra-D 24 Hour tablets were recently approved by the US. Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of seasonal allergy symptoms with nasal congestion in adults and children 12 years of age and older. The new Allegra-D 24 hour tablet utilizes the Osmodex(TM) system to achieve once-daily dosing.
